Shaker card |MFT Steeped in Love stamp set

8:00:00 PM

Happy Monday, crafty friends!

Today, I have one more tea card to share with you. This is my entry for current Coffee Lovers 2017 Summer Hop and also MFT Sketch challenge #338 and Color Challenge #72.

Here is what I came up with.

To start, I stamped cute girl from MFT Steeped in Love stamp set with Memento Tuxedo and colored with Copics and Shinhan Touch Brush markers. I did paper piercing for her skirt, too. I then fussy cut out her using scissors.

Next, I die cut scallop frame from grey card stock and slightly marked inner rectangle edges with pencil for next step.

I then created striped background using lots of post-it. I sponged MFT Blueberry dye ink between stripes using mini blending tool, except center rectangle area.

After that, I glued scallop frame on this panel.

I die cut heart shape and made shaker using foam adhesives and sequins. I then foam mounted front panel on A2 sized white card base. I glued girl image beside the heart shaker, too.

To finish off, I white heat embossed the sentiment and adhered sentiment bar where I wanted them using foam tape.

[Supplies I used today]

* MFT Steeped in Love stamp set : girl, sentiment
* MFT Roses All Over 6X6 Paper Pack : girl's skirt
* MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames

Hope you enjoy this card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Love,
Dana
