Hi, all!
Today, I'm sharing a simple Christmas card. I think it's been a while since I made a card not from DT assignments!
To begin, I stamped images from Avery Elle Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals and colored them with Copic markers. I applied Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew to light bulbs and let it dried.
I die cut tag elements from bristol paper using Avery Elle Shaker Tags and ink blended background panel with Spun Sugar, Old Paper Distress Oxide Inks.
I'm a paper lover and have many paper pads, but haven't used patterned paper a lot in my cards. So I pulled out Doodlebug Design Milk & Cookies Paper Pad and built a background and love how it turned out.
I silver heat embossed *joy* from same stamp set and adhered hemp card ribbon with mini silver jingle bells as shown in the picture.
I mounted all elements using glue and foam adhesive and finished off this card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge : Gift It |
Hello, crafty friends!
I can't believe that this is already the last day of August!
And it means it's time to start making holiday cards. right? :)
So today, I'm sharing my first Christmas card of 2016 with you.
I started off by brick stenciling on the watercolor paper using distress inks.
I used Vintage photo, Ground espresso, Black shoot, Antique linen, Fossilized amber and Barn door.
I then die cut the stenciled panel using two square dies to express fireplace.
From this step, background is completed!
Next, I stamped milk bottles from Sweet Tidings, light strand from Retro ornaments and dog from Happy Howl-didays stamp set of Avery Elle onto Strathmore bristol paper.
I colored them using Zig clean color real brushes.
For milk bottles, I used Carmine red, Wine red, Yellow, Green shadow and Pale grey, Haze blue.(these colors are not shown well in the pic)
For puppy coloring, I used Grey, Light grey, Oatmeal, Carmine red and Wine red.
I then white heat embossed the sentiments from Happy howl-idays stamp set.
To finished off, I assembled the all pieces where I wanted them on the card base using foam tape for dimension.
Puppy is waiting for his Santa with holiday milk bottles for him :)
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Dana.
