Hello, crafty friend!
Today, I'd like to share holiday card using MFT Harvest Buddies stamp set.
Supplies I used today :
* MFT Harvest Buddies stamp set
* Peerless watercolors : Coloring for critters
* MFT English Brick Wall stencil
* MFT Premium Dye ink, In a buff : For stenciling bricks
* Spellbinders Nestabilities Radiant Rectangles die : Using 2 dies, I created buddies' home look like tree :)
* MFT Hand-Lettered Christmas stamp set : Joy sentiment
* MFT Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle
* MFT Die-namics Homespun Stitch Lines : For bottom of the background panel
* MFT Premium Dye ink, Blue Breeze : Ink blended background panel
* SimonSaysStamp Lots Of Snowflakes stamp set
I started by stamping critters onto the watercolor paper. After coloring them with watercolor paint and waterbrush, I fussy cut them out using scissors without white space.
Next, I die cut the background watercolor panel. I heat embossed snowflakes using silver and white embossing power. I then ink blended the background panel using dye ink.
I die cut elegant rectangle and oval. I used them as a body of big tree :) I traced oval shape using pencil and stenciled bricks for cozy feeling of buddies' sweet home.
I stamped sentiment on the piece of watercolor paper and cut it using scissors and ink blended slightly with same colors of background.
To finish off, I mounted all element where I wanted them on the white card base using glue tape and foam tape (sentiment).
Here are some close up pics.
I created this card following sketch and colors :
