Happy Saturday, crafty friends!
Today, I did my first no line coloring with alcohol markers. As you know, I started alcohol marker coloring just couple of weeks ago, and no line coloring with them was big challenge to me! And... Here is the result.
Alcohol markers I used today are :
Magnolia - Altenew Artist Markers Set A (main), Copic R0000 (highlight)
Branch - Light warm grey, brown and green colors from various Copics and Shinhan Touch Brush markers.
I started by stamping magnolia image from Dot.B (Eunji Jung's handcrafted stamp brand) with Distress ink, Tattered Rose.
I then colored them with markers from dark to light colors. This is not big different way when I enjoyed coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers without water but I really love final result of alcohol markers :)
Especially, I'm in love with Altenew Artist Markers Set A's color combination! It's very useful and makes me feel more easy for alcohol marker coloring.
After coloring, I stamped sentiment from Altenew Super Script stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black. I then adhered peach color masking tape to each side of white card base. To finish, I foam mounted magnolia panels.
Hope you enjoy this card as much as I did!
Wish you a happy weekend!
Love,
Dana

Hello gorgeous!!! Stunning coloring!
ReplyDeleteAwwww thanks dear, Cris!!!
DeleteSoooo beautiful. I have many copics and tombow and many inks, but trying to figure out all the differences in Alchohol inks verses others..Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment! In my (short) experience, there is not too big difference between these markers (copic, altenew, shinhan). As a alcohol marker beginner, I'll buy more basic colors from Shinhan and light& unique colors from Copic. Because they are blended well and Shinhan markers are so good price in Korea😊.
