Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to the Studio Katia March 2018 Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be part of this blog hop today. Hopefully you came from amazing Ilda's blog, but if you get lost you can find the full hop list in the bottom of this post or visit Studio Katia Blog!
Studio Katia has released amazing products include 9 new Clear Stamp Sets and 5 sets of Coordinating Dies, 4 new stand alone Creative Dies, 2 new Stencils and 12 new Embellishments.
These are really awesome and I'd like to showcase some of them today. Let's get started!
For my first card, I began by die cutting shaker window from A2 sized white card stock and patterned paper using Studio Katia Dotted Patterns: Darling Ribbon and glued them each other and added clear acetate behind them.
I then stamped sentiment from Studio Katia Kindness Confetti Stamp Set with StazOn Jet Black onto acetate.
For shaker, I mixed two kinds of newly released embellishments called Studio Katia Shimmering Ice Fusion and Satin Rainbow Confetti. Aren't they so beautiful? I generally prefer to use clear sequins for shaker card, but I couldn't resist using these colorful things today!
Before getting to create a shaker, I softly ink blended background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Then, I built a shaker using foam adhesive and mounted it on A2 sized white card base.
Next, I featured Studio Katia Spin-Tastic Stamp Set for my other cards. It's so fun set and I recommend use this stamp set with coordinating die set!
With this stamp set and die set, I firstly made spinner card. I stamped flower shaped fidget spinner image from Studio Katia Spin-Tastic stamp set and colored with copic markers. On the center of this spinner, I put mini brad to spin and applied Nuvo Crystal Drops Sweet Lilac over it and let it dried.
I trimmed down card base 4 1/2'' x 9'' and fold it in half. I cut patterned paper to 4 1/2'' x 4 1/2'' and glued it on the card base. I then die cut scallop square using newly released Studio Katia Square Scallop Die Set. I stamped sentiment from same stamp set and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and applied Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
After combining spinner with square panel using mini brad which is fixed with spinner, I mounted square panel to card base using foam adhesive.
I stamped other images and embellished dried Nuvo Crystal Drops Apple Green around the spinner.
My last card is interactive penny slider card. At this time, I used only Studio Katia Spin-Tastic Coordinating Die Set for my fidget spinner. I die cut all spinner elements from iridescent paper and silver metallic paper.
For background, I die cut square again using Studio Katia Scallop Square Die Set from bristol paper and stenciled clouds with Distress Inks. I also added extra die cut, very thin scallop square frame colored with Copic marker, after foam mounting the square panel.
I then die cut slider and put spinner which is mounted with penny sized circle paper (I used same one with center piece of spinner) and small foam adhesive into slider.
I stamped sentiments from same stamp set using Studio Katia Mini Acrylic Block. I colored one of it with Zig markers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen-Clear Overlay. To finish, I adhered embellishment from Studio Katia Glam Crystals here and there.
