Hello and welcome to Studio Katia Fall 2018 Release Blog Hop Day 1!
It's Dana and I hope you stop by my blog from Studio Katia blog. If you get lost, you can find the full hop list below or visit Studio Katia Blog. For today, I'm sharing two cards featuring lots of our new release. Let's get started!
For my first card, I started by stamping adorable images from Studio Katia Kobi's Ice Day and colored them in with Copic markers. I then cut them using Coordinating Die Set.
I took a cold pressed watercolor paper and watercolored background using Gansai Tambi watercolor paints. Once dried, I heat embossed little snowflakes from same stamp set using two kinds of embossing powders. I silver heat embossed a sentiment onto black card stock as well.
I foam mounted all pieces as shown and embellished it with Studio Katia Iridescent Ice Flakes using Studio Katia Glue. I then drew some little snows here and there and tore the watercolor panel by hands and mounted it onto violet card base. I easily made this colored card base by sponging it with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink.
For my second card, I began by white heat embossing the flower images from Studio Katia You're So Sweet Stamp Set onto cold pressed watercolor paper. I watercolored flowers and background using Daniel Smith watercolor paints.
After it dried, I die cut the watercolor panel with Studio Katia Dotted Patterns Set 3 and foam mounted it using craft foam onto A2 sized beige card base.
Next, I die cut 'thanks' with Studio Katia A Cup of Thanks Dies two times and glued together using Studio Katia Glue. I rubbed it with embossing ink pad and sprinkled WOW! Neptune Embossing Glitter and heat set it. Then, I gold heat embossed another sentiment and foam mounted 'thanks' die cut using foam tape. To finish, I adhered Studio Katia Jade Crystals as shown in the picture.
That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed today's cards.
